Date: February 29, 2008

Telescope: Celestron 8 XLT f/2 on CGE mount

Camera: Starlight Xpress SXV-H9C

Exposure: 23 5-min subframes (115 min total) guided with Meade DSI pro and piggybacked Meade DSX-90 at f/13.8 using PHD Guiding.

Comments: HyperStar 3 lens, Astronomik 13nm Hydrogen alpha filter. Left frame is red layer only, The green and blue layers didn't show any nebula and the full color image (essentially all red) had halos around the brighter stars. The right frame was colorized using Noel Carboni's actions and Paint Shop Pro 9.
